/ Meeting the Counter-UAS Threat With Rapid and Modular Acquisition
Modern conflicts are driving home the sobering truth that unmanned systems are changing the face of warfare in ways that will impact everything from doctrine to equipping. On the defensive side, that’s led to a flood of counter-UAS entrants and DoD funding to match.
That could lead to chaos. But we think – with the right choices – it can also lead to a state-of-the-art acquisition approach, built for speed, adaptability, and getting real capability to the fight. Read how that can happen here.
2 / Changing the Game for Mission Effectiveness
Dcode is dedicated to bridging the gap between the speed of technology and the federal government. We work every day to think smarter and harder for our clients to accomplish that. So we’re excited to share with this community some recent news that position us to do even more impactful work for those getting the best technology to the field.
Dcode’s Rapid Acquisition Integration Cell (RAIC) has been selected and funded by the U.S. Air Force for a Phase II SBIR award, validating RAIC as a productized acquisition accelerator with a path to Phase III contracting authority. Building on that momentum, RAIC is already driving impact, powering the Army’s new Global Tactical Edge Acquisition Directorate (G-TEAD) and supporting T2COM with a Rapid Policy Action Cell (RPAC) to eliminate barriers and speed capability delivery to the force. 3 / DoD’s Cyber Compliance Inflection Point
The DoD is at a cyber compliance crossroads. As threats evolve and timelines shrink, the Risk Management Framework (RMF) can no longer afford to be a slow lane.
Our latest piece builds on the path already charted by leading voices in the field, showing how AI and automation can streamline RMF. But we go a step further: highlighting the often-overlooked role of strong governance as the key to making those technical gains stick. See how it all ties together to speed software to the user: Automation, AI & Governance Best Practices to Modernize the RMF.
